We would like to provide an important update regarding our current COVID-19 protocol.

With this rapidly changing and unpredictable environment, it remains our priority to:

  • Provide our family practice members with the same efficient primary care you’ve come to trust.
  • Prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • Maintain the health and safety of your family, our staff, and the community.

WALK-IN CLINIC WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED

We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our walk-in clinic in order to preserve resources and ensure that we can continue to deliver safe and reliable services for our family practice patients. During this time, our family clinic will remain fully operational and appointments, as always, can be easily made via our Care& app.

Your health and safety is our number one priority. We feel this precaution is one we must take in order to continue providing the same great care upon which our family practice members have come to know and rely while mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and protecting our community.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we navigate this public health concern together, and we will continue to share updates as they occur. 

NEW PROTOCOL FOR FAMILY PRACTICE

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing every day. Here’s how we’re adapting.

Care& has built its platform to be an invaluable asset in times like these when visiting the clinic may not be the best option. As a reminder, the following features are made available through our app or patient portal:

  • Access to your medical records kept in your personal encrypted file
  • Refilling of prescriptions so you can pick them up directly from the pharmacy with no wait time
  • Be seen by your Nurse Practitioner same or next day and get the answers you need
  • Take care of your health from the comfort of your own home

PRE-SCREENING

Schedule a telemedicine appointment before booking an appointment in the clinic if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms:

  • Have you travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?
  • Have you or a family member been in contact with anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?
  • Have you been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19?

If you responded "YES" to any of these, we will instruct you on the next steps during your telemedicine appointment.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE FAMILY PRACTICE

Download the app & register an account to make an appointment to speak with an NP from the comfort of your home.

1. Download the Care& app.

2. Register your account.

  • Follow the steps to create a profile
  • Subscribe to your preferred plan
  • Book your appointment as a video call or phone call and fill out the questionnaire regarding your health concern to provide your NP with background information.
  • Avoid visits to high traffic spaces & keep yourself and your family safe
