We take privacy seriously. The Care& app is fully PHIPA-compliant and uses end-to-end encryption for all data. Your health information is stored on Canadian servers, access is tightly controlled with audit trails, and we never share your data with third parties for marketing or sales.

Yes. Each person needs their own patient profile, but parents and guardians can create and manage accounts for their children. You can book appointments, view lab results, message providers, and request refills on their behalf. For adult family members, you can be designated as a caregiver. Each family member needs their own Family Practice membership or pays per visit.

Results typically arrive 24-72 hours after your sample is collected. You'll get a push notification when they're ready. Open "My Health" and tap "Lab Results" to see everything organized by date, with indicators showing whether your values are in the normal range. Your NP also reviews all results within 24 hours and will reach out if anything needs attention.

Yes. Go to "My Medications," find the prescription, and tap "Request Refill." Your NP gets the request and typically approves routine refills within 1 business day. The prescription is sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. Family Practice members can request unlimited refills as part of their membership.

Yes. The Care& app works on both iOS and Android with the same features. You can also use the web version at app.careand.ca from any computer or tablet. Everything syncs in real-time across all your devices.
